A Missed Opportunity for Character Design

I like Arkayna's design. While it's proper and refined, it's not over the top. The tiara almost looks like a headband, and her dress isn't fancy. What I like about it is that it shows Arkayna's attitude to being a princess. She'll always make a point of looking presentable, but not show off. This is also seen by how she doesn't seem to expect others to refer to her as "princess Arkayna".

The missed opportunity was to use it as a foil for Gawayne. If Gawayne had a more elaborate outfit, it could show how, unlike Arkayna, he cares more about being seen as royal as opposed to Arkayna, who cares more about doing the right thing. And it wouldn't be difficult either. All they would have to do is substitute the goggles he has on his head with a fancy crown, maybe make his coronation outfit something we wears often, and that could work.

Anyway, I know this is a short post, but I wanted to get that thought out there.
