Would Em or Arkayna Have Given the Dragon Disk to Zarya and Piper if She Knew About Choko?
I was thinking about whether or not Arkayna and Em would give the Dragon Disk to Zarya and Piper if they knew about Choko and the plan to duplicate the disk.
I don't think Arkayna would. She does not know Zarya or Piper at this point, and didn't seem to care about Choko. Between that and how important protecting the Dragon Disk is to her, I doubt she would have given it (though I have no doubt that if she went back in time, she would).
Em would be harder to predict. She's loyal to Arkayna, and knows how much the Dragon Disk means to her. She also knows how guilty Arkayna feels for not saving her parents, and losing the Dragon Disk would be worse. However, she would also want to save the foz, and after hearing the plan, would think it makes sense.
In the end, I think Em would be too loyal to Arkayna to give up the Dragon Disk. However, she would feel guilty about it, and would side with Zarya and Piper sometimes in early arguments, trying to get everyone to get along.
I think this would push Em and Piper closer earlier. Arkayna might be annoyed that her best friend is taking the side of someone she doesn't get along with, while Zarya might feel like Em's pretending to be nice. Piper seems to not have any hard feelings towards Arkayna or Em even at the start of the series, so they would naturally become clsoer.
Do you think Alpha Galaga could've been the traitor too? Like the person Nova Terron was talking about in Season 1 Episode 20
That is an interesting idea. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that's the case. Nova Terron said "May he rest among the stars" when talking about him in "The Prophecy Unleashed". This gives me the impression that he was no longer alive. However, it's still possible. Maybe Alpha Galaga regretted betraying the Astromancers and tried to make it right, but ended up doing a heroic sacrifice to do so. Or, he was still evil, but Nova Terron still cared about it. He either covered up the betrayal, or Alpha Galaga was defeated, and Nova Terron still cared (the "May he rest among the stars" comments implied he cared about Alpha Galaga). Still, I'm not sure about him being a traitor.
But just because Alpha Galaga wasn't the traitor, it doesn't mean that there was no traitor. Perhaps the traitor defeated Alpha Galaga. After all, Nova Terron lived a long life (remembering the final battle with Necrafa), so I'd assume Alpha Galaga had the long lifespan as well. It could be that the traitor caused Alpha Galaga's demise.
What If Snorey Dude Was Alpha Galaga?
We know that Snorey Dude is actually King Valmauk. But what if he were Alpha Galaga instead?
A big question that would come up is why he's living on the streets instead of being the Starmaster. I considered the possibility of a villain forcing him to go into hiding, but I doubt that's the case. Nova Terron speaks highly of him, so I don't imagine he's the type to run when things get hard. Perhaps something drained his magic, and he felt as though he wasn't able to be as good as a starmaster as he should be without it.
I have a feeling that the Astromancers would react quite differently than the Mysticons. The Astromancers would have mixed feelings about it, as they're happy to be reunited, but the older ones might feel as though Alpha Galaga abandoned them. The Mysticons, knowing that he was the one who ordered Nova Terron to get rid of one of the royal twins, wouldn't trust him. So, while Nova Terron would encourage them working with Alpha Galaga, it may not happen right away.
I think that Alpha Galaga would be aloof and cold, at least at the start. Given what he ordered Nova Terron to do to Zarya, it's possible he's harsher than Nova Terron. I think he would be an obstacle the Mysticons have to get around, but unlike Nova Terron, won't be as easily tricked.
It could also lead to a new villain. Whoever stripped Alpha Galaga of his powers could return as the next main villain of the series.
"The Last Dragon" would have to change, but not as much as one might think. Alpha Galaga is powerful, so I imagine he would be able to take care of Stormy. However, it wouldn't be as powerful, as Stormy wouldn't reunite with family.
In short, the series would be different if Alpha Galaga came back. It would cause interesting problems for the Mysticons, but would make one episode's ending less satisfying.

Mysticons Fan Episode: The Dark Mirror
The Mysticons go to a museum, as both Em and Sharise want to go, and the others go along. They see a mirror, and the curator describes it as the Dark Mirror. He says that people are supposedly cursed when they touch it, being consumed with self-doubt. However, he says that he doesn't believe it, and that the rumour was made to get people to avoid touching it.
As the Mysticons go to another room in the museum, alarms ring out. They see Kymraw and her orcs stealing the Dark Mirror. There is a fight, and all the Mysticons touch the mirror. It is returned, and Kymraw is arrested.
That night, all the Mysticons have had nightmares based on their fears. Sharise has a nightmare where no one understands her due to her articulation disorder. Em has a nightmare about not being able to save the other Mysticons. Arkayna has a nightmare about Drake City crumbling. Piper has a nightmare about being alone. Zarya has a nightmare about losing her family.
The next morning, Piper mentions that she had a bad dream, and the others admit that each of them had a bad dream. Zarya wonders if they had the same dream, but after they compare their nightmares, they realize that it's different. Arkayna guesses that it has something to do with the mirror.
They go to the museum, and the curator denies that it was the mirror. He says that the Mysticons are young, and that the stress of being heroes is likely just getting to them. However, an assistant at the museum speaks up. She says that it is real. Arkayna asks how to stop it, and the assistant says that the only way she knows of is by looking at a special type of glass that only appears in Altera Cave. However, she says she can't go herself, as the mirror increased her own fear of caves, and that if the curse afflicts someone for more than a couple days, like it did her, the fear causes extreme dizziness.
As they're heading to the cave, the self-doubt begins to affect them during the day, not just in nightmares. Their self-doubts begin to affect them on their mission (Sharise being scared of not being understood so she doesn't warn the others of something she notices, Arkayna insisting they turn back because she believes Drake City is in danger, etc). They work together to help them overcome their self-doubt.
They reach the cave where the glass is supposed to be. Just as they're about to find the glass, monsters attack. They realize that the monsters are guardians, and that they have to fight the monsters. During the fight, part of the glass breaks off. The monsters are defeated, and they the glass works. Wm notices the broken piece of glass, and they decide to bring it to the museum.
They go to the museum assistant, and thank her for her help. The assistant says that she didn't know what happened until it was too later for her to solve it, and didn't want the Mysticons to suffer through it. They give the glass shard to the assistant, just in case someone accidentally touches the mirror.
Did the Original Mysticons Deal With an Apocalypse?
It is possible that the original Mysticons dealt with the apocalypse. While there isn't much information, there is some information.
First, the scene where Imani Firewing fights Necrafa. It looks like a barren wasteland. While it's interesting, it might not prove anything, it is interesting to note that in the current time, the area is a nice park. While many different things could have caused the ecosystem to change in 1,000 years, it is interesting to note. There is a chance that an apocalypse
Another thing supporting this is that Nova Terron has been through an apocalypse before. While we don't know when apocalypses happened, it could have happened around the time as the original Mysticons. And as Nova Terron seemed to know the original Mysticons, at least in the chapter books, he would have experienced it.
A third clue is how the Astromancers acted when Necrafa was mentioned. They were shocked that Arkayna would just say her name out loud. If Necrafa started the apocalypse, that would explain it. And she was the villain at the flashback, where the environment seemed different, so it's possible she caused the apocalypse.
In short, we can't be sure Necrafa caused an apocalypse that the original Mysticons went through. Still, it is possible.
Confronting Mrs. Sparklebottom Imagine
"I'm not sure about this," Proxima said as she and Zarya approached Mrs. Sparklebottom's sanctuary.
"She lied to both of us," Zarya said. "She needs to make it right."
They reached Lateensia. "Can I help you?" Lateensia asked.
"Tell Mrs. Sparklebottom that Zarya and Proxima are here. We need to talk to her now."
"She's-" Lateensia was about to say. She looked up, and saw the intense, angry expression in Zarya's eyes. "I'm not dealing with this." She called Mrs. Sparklebottom.
A few minutes later, Mrs. Sparkebottom came. She froze when she saw Proxima and Zarya. "I suppose you came for answers," she said.
"You lied about our identities," Zarya said.
"I had to keep your identity a secret," Mrs. Sparklebottom said.
"I want to know who my parents are," Proxima said.
"Their names are Darvin and Miri Nightshade," Mrs. Sparklebottom said. "I don't know much about them, but they are scientists working with the Astromancers."
"Why did they abandon me here?" Proxima asked, tears forming in her eyes.
"I wish I could tell you," Miss Sparklebottom said. "They didn't say."
"Thank you," Proxima said.
"If I discover anything else to help you find them, I'll let you know," Mrs. Sparklebottom said. "Though remember, family isn't just who shares your DNA."
Proxima looked at Zarya, noticing how ready she was to stand up for Proxima. She knew Arkayna would use any resources she could to find the parents, and that Nova Terron calls often to see how Proxima's doing.
"I know," Proxima said.
What If Mysticons Had a Monster of the Week Format?
I was thinking about this, and I think it's a cool concept. I also think that it could work well in the show.
One reason I think it could work is because of the villains. A lot of villains can do magic, and while it doesn't appear that Dreadbane can do so, Tazma's there to do magic. So, there is an easy way to do so, as they can summon the monsters.
I also think this might be interesting, as it will give flexibility. By having different villains every week, it could help highlight the different themes. For example, in the episode "Heart of Stone", the monster could resemble a mech, as it represents the dwarves, and Em's history with engineering.
A monster of the week format isn't unheard of in magical girl shows. It's the main format for Pretty Cure. So, Mysticons could still be a magical girl show.
There is one problem with it, and it has to do with the quality of Mysticons villains. Most of the main villains are fun and/or interesting to watch, so it makes sense that they focus on fighting the villains, not random monsters. It's also cool to see them adapt based on the villains' plan, where monster of the week formats can get repetitive.
In short, Mysticons could have easily done a monster of the week format. However, I don't think it would have been the best choice for the show.
Switching the Mysticons' Powers
This will be what would happen if each character had to become a different Mysticon.
ARKAYNA: She would be Mysticon Striker. While this isn't the most obvious, she does use fireworks, which suits her Pixie Blast.
EM: She would be Mysticon Alchemist. Alchemy is related to science, and owls are associated with wisdom, so it would suit Em.
ZARYA: She would be Mysticon Dragon Mage. She does tend to serve as a second-in-command, even taking over as leader briefly.
PIPER: She would be Mysticon Knight. Unicorns would suit her, as would the purple colour.
SHARISE: She would be Mysticon Ranger. Given that Sharise can be reserved, and I associate rangers with being loners in dungeons and dragons, it would fit.

If Mysticons Took Place in Canada, What City Would it Be?
Since Mysticons is a Canadian show, I thought about which city the Mysticons would be in if they were in Canada. It's not that odd of a question either, as Mysticons was initially going to take place in the real world.
There are some things that I feel would be important. First, as Drake City is a large city, I feel that Mysticons should live in a large Canadian city. Also, due to the royal family, I believe that a capital city would work best (I know that I said Arkayna's parents would work in business on Earth, but being in politics is another good idea). So, while I will pick a capital city, I will let myself pick provincial capitals, or the capital of Canada.
Toronto seems like the most obvious option. It's the largest city in Canada, and is the capital of Ontario. Because of this, it hits all the boxes. However, while I am open to provincial capitals, the fact that it's in the same province as the federal capital makes it tempting to just pick Ottawa.
Ottawa is another obvious choice, simply due to it being the capital of Canada as a whole. If I were to keep Arkayna's parents in politics, then the capital would be a good place.
An unexpected good choice would be Victoria. While it's a provincial capital and not the federal one, it doesn't rule it out. It is the smallest out of the three I'm exploring, making it seem like the worst choice. However, it has a port, and as Drake City is by the sea, it does make it seem like a good fit for a real version of Drake City.
So, which option would I choose? I would probably say Ottawa. While Toronto would be the best choice if I were just looking at the city, the importance of the royal family (politician's family in the real version), makes the federal capital too tempting to pass up.
Mysticons Fan Episode: Deep Fog
The Mysticons are walking home from a pancake breakfast when they notice fog comes in. Em says it's weird, as she didn't expect fog to form at that time. However, Arkayna notices that nothing about the fog itself seems weird. They check their phones, and the fog is explained by the temperature being perfect for it, so they assume it's normal.
As the day progresses, the Mysticons notice that the fog isn't natural. Just as they're about to investigate, Proxima calls them into the Academy. While the Mysticons struggle to make it through the fog, they eventually do so. Proxima tells them that there is magic in the fog, and asks them to figure out what it is.
As they're investigating the fog, they notice it's getting thicker. Zarya asks Piper and Sharise if they would be able to lead them through the fog, as they have better eyesight, but Piper says that the fog is making it hard for her to see as well. As they're talking, they notice something going towards them. They quickly move out of the way, and notice that it's the dragon train. Sharise initially wonders if the dragon train went off its tracks, but they later realized that it was them that accidentally ended up on the tracks. They realize how dangerous the fog is, and is determined to figure it out quickly.
As they're looking for clues, they see a car stuck on a cliff. While the Mysticons want to focus on getting rid of the fog, they realize that the person in the car is in danger. They use their powers to help rescue the car. The driver thanks them, and says that the fog is acting particularly strange in a nearby cabin, and he thought he saw someone there. The Mysticons thank him and follow the lead.
They go to the cabin, and see Tazma. There is a fight, but Tazma has something that makes it easy for her to see through the fog. Between that and creatures Tazma summoned, she defeats the Mysticons, forcing them to retreat.
At the stronghold, they talk about what to do, as they can't defeat Tazma if they can't see her. Em suspects that they can figure out how to make special goggles to help them see through the fog by having the lenses block it out, so the vision is what it would be without the fog. Using a mix of technology and magic, they manage to make the goggles. However, as there's limited energy, Em says that it's best to save the battery.
They struggle through the fog, and get to the cabin. They use the goggles and manage to defeat Tazma. She is forced to retreat, the spell causing the fog going away.
As they're leaving, they notice the fog going away. Arkayna feels bad that they didn't realize until later how serious the situation was, and Zarya says that they can't worry about every time weather changes, and that they just have to do the best they can.
Imagine Between Zarya and Em (Zarya Missing Adoptive Parents)
Em frowned as she saw Zarya on the palace balcony, staring at the city. Ever since the mission they had where they stopped Kymraw, Zarya was quiet. She didn't know why though. It was actually a pretty good mission. After defeating Kymraw, they were actually given a free dinner from a restaurant after he was glad they not only saved the restaurant, but also managed to protect the fridge so the food doesn't spoil.
"Are you O.K?" Em asked.
"I'm fine," Zarya said, not looking at Em.
Em didn't believe that, and stood beside her. "I know something's bothering you."
Zarya sighed. "It was the food at the restaurant. It reminded me of my adoptive parents." She looked at Em. "My adoptive mom made a dish just like I got at the restaurant."
"You miss them, don't you?" Em said.
Zarya nodded, tears forming in her eyes. "I know I have my birth mom, but my adoptive parents still mean a lot to me. And then I think about how I will never know my birth dad, and..."
"Your thought spirals, don't they?" Em asked.
The tears in Zarya's eyes fall. "It was supposed to be a good mission. I shouldn't be feeling like this."
Em pulled Zarya into a hug. "It's OK to miss your adoptive parents, even if it was after a good day."
"Thanks," Zarya said. "I didn't want to talk about it with Arkayna or Mom. It would feel weird to talk about my adoptive parents with them."
"They'd understand," Em said. "But if you don't want to talk about it with them, you can always talk to me."
"Thanks, Em," Zarya said.
"Anytime," Em said. "You're never alone."
What if Mysticons Had a Zordon-Like Mentor?
I was wondering what would Mysticons would be like if they had a Zordon-like mentor (a while ago, someone was watching Mighty Morphing Power Rangers while staying over, and I got interested in the show). To explain what I mean (for those who never watched Mighty Morphin Power Rangers or don't know what aspects I will be using), I'm thinking of a mentor that gives advice, but is forced to stay in the base.
I considered making the Dragon Disk serve as a mentor. It can be sentient and talk, serving as a mentor to the Mysticons. It did have a speaking voice when announcing the Mysticons names, so it would be possible to give the Dragon Disk more of a speaking role. While it may not entirely fit the "stay in the base" rule that I had, as the Mysticons can easily carry the Dragon Disk needed, it is close enough to work.
Another idea is that Imani Firewing serves as the mentor. Her spirit is inside an object. There are various options, such as a crystal ball or mirror. That way, we could see Imani's facial expressions when talking to the Mysticons (for example, her being worried when Zarya is sick). I honestly like this idea.
Malvaron would still have a role. He would support the mentor and would be able to physically do stuff. However, we'd lean more on how he never bothered to study magic, explaining why the mentor is the one who tells them about spells and antidotes. Doug wouldn't be in the show, as Malvaron would take over the assistant role, so Doug wouldn't have a role int his version.
In short, I think this would be a cool idea. I personally would like it more if Imani's spirit took over the role.
The Mysticons Trying a New Sport
ARKAYNA: She would research everything she could about the sport before trying it.
ZARYA: She would be pretty good at the new sport.
EM: She might struggle a bit, but would try.
PIPER: She would be excited to try, being more focused on having fun than being good at the sport.
SHARISE: She would be reluctant to try, as she'd be worried about embarrassing herself.
Was Em Made to Be the Relatable Character?
I have a feeling that I believe that Em was specifically made to be the more relateable character. This is due to her backstory, as well as her character episodes being more realistic.
Arkayna is a princess, which makes it so she's less relateable than most, as she has to deal with problems associated with royalty. She also has a long-lost twin and is part of a prophecy, which makes her even less relateable.
Zarya not only had the long-lost twin element that Arkayna has, but there are also more elements that make her less relatable. She was captured by a sky pirate and was forced to become one, and then became a robin hood figure to the kids in the undercity.
Piper is arguably the least relatable. She was part of a circus, then had a similar backstory in the undercity as Zarya's. She also has some mysterious trauma due to bone-like structures.
This brings me to Em. She lived with her parents before moving to Drake City. And while she moved out as a teenager, which may not be relatable, everything else fits. Her episodes also work, as they're mainly about family issues or dealing with emotional issues (hesitating and expressing anger). Because of this, I think that Em was made to be relatable.
I think this was done on purpose to. They may have had a lot of interesting story ideas, but wanted a character easier for the audience to relate to, so they gave it to Em.
In short, I think Em is the most relatable character. I also think that this was done intentionally.
