WHY are job descriptions so vague and badly written?? What is the point of writing thing in such a complex and wordy tone that it takes my poor dyslexic brain 3 goes at reading it to get it to register as a sentence that makes actual sense.

“Operate, monitor and review a range of systems and procedures ensuring consistency and operation to the required standards” ...like this makes sense sort of, but can’t they just TELL me in plain English? why such vague language? what are the hiding??
