Hey, just an FYI but Yelena Belova is canonically aroace (aro/aromantic = no romantic attraction, ace/asexual = no sexual attraction) and shipping her, even if it’s in a lesbian pairing, is erasure of an already barely represented identity.

Hi! Since this is a years-old discourse, I think the best way to answer this is by just linking you to ppl who have explained it better than I probably could and that belong to the aroace community.

On even if you headcanon yelena as aroace =/= from portraying her in a relationship:

I recognize your art by the lively expressions and beautiful eyebrows. Also the fun hair, it's always so detailed and has great flow. Finally I think the movement in your pieces is a unique feature, like we've caught a still frame of an animation or something, they're so dynamic.
