TWO WEEKS ?  but in these two weeks you just became such a wonderful friend, someone who helped me feel so welcomed and nice here in the IT fandom. You deserve the world and happiness and as much booze as you can drink. 

you are such an amazing person and such an amazing writer, so talented and passionate and it’s always just such a pleasure to write with you, talk with you ... STOP   TAKING   ROMANTIC   ADVISE   FROM   HOLLYWOOD.

love   to   me   is   a   lot   like   water;   it’s   refreshing,   fortifying,   healing,   and   safe   at   its   best.   and   yet,   at   its   worse,   it   is   devastating,   destructive,   deadly   even.   i   think   a   lot   of   people,   especially   any   of   those   who   have   never   had   a   relationship   or   been   in   love,   think   love   should   be   monumental   and   groundbreaking   and   addicting,   and   it’s   a   concept   completely   born   from   this   toxic   image   constructed   by   movies   and   poorly   written   novels   with   their   outdated   views   of   romance.   i   think   we   should   really   abandon   the   concept   of   falling   into   love,   and   embrace   stepping   into   it.   when   you   fall,   it   is   uncontrollable,   overwhelming,   and   consuming   to   the   point   either   party   can   begin   to   be   abusive   by   demanding   all   their   partner’s   attention,   creating   emotional   dependency,   unwarranted   jealousy,   possessiveness,   etc.   i   think   when   you   take   the   time   to   understand   love   and   allow   your   relationship   to   naturally   be   embraced   by   love,   it’s   the   kind   that   lasts.   love   can   still   feel   invigorating   and   breathtaking,   but   i   think   it’s   important   to   not   allow   it   to   overwhelm   you,   or   else   it   has   the   capability   to   burn   out   just   as   fast.

                 he   shouldn’t   open   the   box  ,      HE   REALLY   SHOULDN’T   OPEN   THE   BOX .     but   this   is   just   the   way   kids  are  ,   right  ?     any   nicely   wrapped   and   bowed   up   parcel   is   too   fun   a   surprise   to   neglect .     is   it   a   present  ?     is   it   a   prank  ?      it’s   addressed   directly   to   him  ,     black   ink   scrawled   out   the   word   “𝑒𝑑𝑑𝑖𝑒,”   followed   closely   by   a   little   x .     maybe   it’s   from   a   secret   admirer  !     but   oh  ,    is   he   in   for   a   nasty   surprise   from   his   ANONYMOUS   SENDER .

            the   thing   is  ,     he   isn’t   even   there   to   see   the   shock   on   the   boy’s   face .     oh  no  ,     he’s   letting   the  events   unfold   themselves  ,    this   time .      sat   at   home  ,     minding   his   very   own   business  ,     MAYBE   EVEN   WATCHING   THE   NEWS .    he   can’t   resist   the  ego-stroking   that   the   reporters   provide   on   a   daily   now .    they’ll   have   plenty   more   to   talk   about   once   eddie   opens   his   box  ,     where   inside   lies   a   sole   bloodied   finger   of   a   missing   person .
