So... my sister and I were talking about Sonic Adventure 2, and had an idea: What would have happened if the ARK raid never happened? If G.U.N. had succeeded in obtaining their ultimate, immortal weapon, all because that one soldier chose not to fire? Would they have taken over the country? And what would happen 50 years later, if Sonic and his friends got roped into it...? 

Hence, SONIC: GUNShot was born! It would be a comic series that explores this darker premise, while still having plenty of humor (no swears here, this isn’t Shadow the Hedgehog 😅). Sonic and friends would be a team of secret agents, carrying out missions for the government while discovering secrets about the past...

Would anyone be interested in seeing something like that...?  👉 👈

Additional thoughts under the cut:

Sonic’s design here is fantastic. He’s much sleeker, and spikier, and everything just screams “speed”. And the scarf helps with that by trailing out behind him (And makes it feel more like flying, of course)!

The process of drawing him involves a lot of quick, sharp strokes - just like Sonic himself! So that was really fun, too. ^^

I think I ended up making him look a little less ‘chibi’ than I’d like, though. He looks more edgy here. Still, I’m happy with the result!
