Devlog #2: Scrapping Failed Plans For New Ones
In May I made the first devlog, illustrating my plans and steps to start making this game. May and June have passed. What did I accomplish? Where is development now?
I was really busy in June, unable to work on art — no new draft designs besides a couple sketches here and there. So, I need to change how I'm doing things in order to get things done.
I'm going to start working on the writing first: fleshing out the story, writing the code, scrapping drafts. Repeat. The way I work is not linear; working on parts I know first and then the parts I'm not sure of, then fixing the betweens to make a nice flow.
I'm going to set this deadline for myself:
- Have a draft of the story written by August.
- have the UI designed by August
