Question for my diabetic buds/followers/any other diabetics who see this on tumblr
Do you ever get it where you’re sat reading a book, watching tv, or doing something everyday average that you’re diabetic and then you think about everything that it involved in a really intense way?
Hi there DOC!
I've wanted to make a blog like this for ages to connect with other diabetics on here ever since I discovered how great the DOC can be. So here goes...😋 I am currently on an Animas Vibe (without its CGM because you can't get that on NHS😁). It's coming to the end of its four year lifespan - at the end of this I can get a new one on the NHS! 🎉 Before that I had a Medtronic Minimed. I recently got a Freestyle Libre - self funded of course because it isn't available on the NHS. I am absolutely loving it - now I get why so many people in the US are raving about CGMs. Honestly you rarely see this sort of thing in the UK but it has already been so useful in picking up trends I had no clue were there (namely night times and post-meal spikes).
