Handholding Prompts #33 Bandages - Threo/Sarasa
It seemed like Threo was throwing herself into danger at every step or every second of the day. It wasn't unusual for you to pull her away from a fight or step in between her and a villager. She also had a tendency to run off in the complete opposite direction of where you needed to be going - which was how you found yourself detangling Threo from a wild burr bush.
"Threo..." You began, pulling the plants from her clothes ever-so carefully.
"I know, I know! I shouldn't have run off..." She pouted, crossing her arms. In doing so, she revealed small cuts on her arms and hands from the fall. Clicking your tongue, you took her hands into your own.
"(Name)! C'mon, it's not that bad!" Threo protested but you held onto her hands a bit tighter. Sensing she wouldn't win this fight, Threo slumped and waited as you gently bandaged each and every one of the cuts on her hands.
Time passed and you were satisfied with your work. Threo had been silent the entire time, watching you work diligently. When you finished, she immediately stood up and pulled you to your feet.
"Finally! C'mon, let's go!" She grabbed your hand, and before you could protest, you two were flying across the forest once more, never separating.
Handholding Prompts #33 Bandages - Feower/Quatre
"And... match! Good work, Feower." Tien said, signaling the end of the sparring match between the two. Tien admitted defeat when Feower managed to pin her to the ground - although, she wasn't at the top of her game that day.
"...Thanks." Feower replied, letting Tien up. "You're not hurt?"
"No." She replied, a smile in her voice. Always caring, even if he doesn't want to admit it. She paused, looking up at an approaching figure - the captain.
"You two! Dinner is soon!" You called out, waving at them. Feower nodded and walked off, leaving Tien to trail behind. Dinner was a handful, much like other nights in Stardust Town, but the crew managed.
After dinner, Feower retired to his room to do maintenance on his weapons. Running a cloth across the handle of his daggers, a knock on his door interrupted his ministrations.
"..." Feower didn't reply and you let yourself into his room. You were holding some medical gauze and disinfectant, much to his surprise: "What's that for?"
"Your hands," You replied, sitting down next to him on his bed. Feower put aside his weapon and frowned. You continued: "There were some red spots on your hands from fighting. You've been sparring with Tien all day, right? Here, give me your hands."
"It's not as bad as it looks..." Feower said, but he held out his hands all the same. You just offered him a small smile as you began to pour disinfectant on the wounds and wrapped his hands in the bandages.
The time passed in silence, Feower not making any noises of complaint even if the medicine stung. You worked with the utmost care, unknowingly lingering as you wrapped his hands up over and over again.
You were finished all too soon, the room almost feeling cold to Feower as you pulled your hands away and began to leave. Realizing that he didn't want you to leave quite yet, Feower fumbled an excuse.
"...I think I hurt my shoulder."
Eventually you had to leave for the night, but Feower still retained the feeling of your hands against him for the next few days.
