V | 3 September 2019 Today’s photo memory goes back to 3 September 2019 when we hosted the Ball State Women’s Soccer Club, featuring Kelli Mueller, whose AUWS journey, I think, demonstrates what it means to be Family Strong. That, if you love your teammates as much as you love your sport, you never give up, no matter what. With or without a jersey, on or off the field, you give your team your all, not for yourself but for the team’s objective. So Kelli, I hope you had four years of team devotion that you’ll never forget. Does Kelli remind you of what it means to be Family Strong? Let us know in the comments below. I used a Nikon D90, fitted with a Tamron AF 28–300mm F3.5–6.3 Macro lens, (which I know wasn’t ideal, but it’s what I had to work with at the time). My exposure was at ISO 320, aperture widest at f / 3.5, fast shutter at 1/1000, with a focus length of 32 mm. Though I usually prefer my aperture wider than f / 3.5 for images like this, I actually like how it provides just enough clarity to reveal Kelli’s teammates encircling her, while providing enough bokeh to bring attention to Kelli. — @auravensws @kmuel4 #AUWS #Family #Strong #OdeToOurSeniors #GBGR #GodBlessGoRavens #SoarRavensSoar #AndersonUniversityWomensSoccer (at Anderson University Women's Soccer) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-4yVvih9yuPr6oTTbXfI_LYohpjFUd_49wg5U0/?igshid=6pcqkiq657lg
