The bitter chill from the cold autumn morning hit the blondes rosy cheeks as she was met with the sight of a busy street and cars shooting past her. Taking a deep breath she dug her hand into the depth of her jacket pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper no larger than a post-it note, skimming her eyes over the address before turning around and spotting a small cluster of houses a few yards away form her. Turning to stare at the taxi driver who she had just left without paying she smiled, digging into her pocket once again and handing him a twenty pound note before proceeding to tell him he could keep the change. Scarlett then tuned on her heel and began her hunt. Once she was closer to the scattered houses, she licked her lips, spotting a large building that resembled the one she had been looking for and without hesitation, she made her way to it. Her fingers brushed over the gate as she slowly pushed it open; her eyes fixated on the door as her nerves slowly began to build. Her hand lifted to curl her fingers around the moon shaped knocker and knocked softly a few times before waiting nervously. She now wondered if this surprise was a good idea after all. Her sister had convinced her it was -- but what if it didn’t go to plan? What if he wasn’t pleased to see her? So many thoughts spiraled her mind and before she knew it there was a click from the other side of the door as it slowly opened.
