EYES DARTING ACROSS the subway , elliot allowed his gaze to wander across the bustling street before looking back down at his phone . for a moment , he seemed to read a message that had flashed across the screen before tucking the device away , heading over towards a character on the street who was currently being eyed by a man who could be described as nothing less than “ sketchy “ .

❝ AH , THERE YOU are , sweetheart . i’ve been looking all over for you !  ❞ elliot suddenly approached the individual , wrapping his arm around the waist of the stranger before pulling them away , leaning down to mutter near them ,  ❝ play along . he’s going to rob you otherwise . thank me later . ❞

— what could be better than a relaxing drink? she was having a much deserved break from her busy schedule and had a moment of peace all to herself. good food, better drinks, and not a bit of stress in sight. or, she hoped. every time she chose to relax, something came up and she had to lose that bit of peace again. as a shadow cast across her table, she looked up, smiling as she sipped at the delicate glass. ❝ how can I help you? ❞ she asked sweetly with a gentle smile on her crimson decorated lips.
