While the EVER GIVEN incident is still (and will forever be) funny, the news this morning about the SEACOR POWER and the accompanying photo is terrifying and I heard from a source close to one of the responding USCG vessels that about 10 have been recovered and the remaining are believed to still be inside the capsized lift ship. Whether they are deceased or surviving due to an air pocket is unknown, but the weather is bad enough that divers are still waiting for it to clear enough to go down.  This reminds me of an incident with a fishing vessel that capsized in the 70s in the Bering Sea with all hands lost, but stayed partially floating for so long that divers were called in, but the weather turned sour before they arrived on scene and the ship sank without any answers to if anyone had survived the sudden initial capsize.
