He hadn’t been in Marion for years. Ryder always floated between cities, never staying in one place for too long. It was part of the job — get into town, do his business and leave. Sometimes it took months at a time, other times just a day. He held no sentimental value towards Marion, but there was something that always pulled him back to the small town in Louisana. He took it upon himself to visit his sire first; it was, afterall, common courtsey to say hello to the women who gave him a new life.
“Hello, darling,” he greeted as Emeline walked into her own place, where he had already made himself comfortable. ( @gccdcompany — closed starter for Emeline )
