When the sea reached high tides, it was a wonderful time for Furiae to approach the shores and observe what was occurring on land. Something about the spray of the sea and the gentle movement of the waves was enough to entice her to pop her head up above the water, and look out onto a world that she could only walk the edges of.
However, she did not long to be human - no, not in the slightest. While she certainly held the ability to change, the limitations of it were enough for her to find peace between living on land and at sea.
It was quite alright with her, after all, to remain the way she was in this vast ocean.
She took one of the pearls from her hair and examined it, taking great care to spot scuffs and scratches on its luminescent surface. When held up against the light of the sun, it carried a timeline of an entire generation - perhaps it had observed years upon years of development and evolution beneath the seas. Furiae had since forgotten where she had found it, but however she had, it now had a place in her hair, continuing to watch.
She looked back out at the beach, where something moving about on the sand caught her interest - something gelatinous, green.
She squinted her eyes in concentration, and put the pearl back in her hair. With a flick of her tail, she sent water splashing about behind her as she took off for the coastline, prepared to intercept the creature - whether it was Pokemon, human, or something foreign, she did not know. But it was worth investigating, no doubt.
"Pardon!" She called to the figure as she reached the shoreline, her blue hair flowing behind her, the few stray wet strands clinging to her neck. "Might you come here for a moment?"
