Truly believe..... This was a question Arwen could not answer. Deep in her heart, there was a certainty of what to do, of where her FATE laid. In a future full of grief where the sun could not reach; this is what her father showed her. He was right, he always was. Yet, WHY it pained her so much the thought of simply abandoning this land? Abandoning this FEELING and the person who stole her heart?
Silver hues checked on the magnificent figure before her, so well known for the Evenstar grew up between Imladris and the trees of Lothlórien, her grandmother, carrying a heavy weight on her shoulders from thousands of years, now questioning something that was clearer than water, yet Arwen wouldn’t want to see, for it as well pained her heart the idea of leaving behind her kin.
Where did she belong.....?
❝ You are my kin, my family..... I should be here.... ❞
Her eyes instead told the exact opposite, and deep inside the maiden knew the right decision; soon a single tear found its way through fair skin, and then another, and another, when Arwen took a deep breath and looked down.
❝ Oh, grandmother... how can I abandon everything? I know... ❞
She knew, she knew she did not belong anymore to elf-kind.
