Vav lives for those days and it helps him keep getting better. Clinging and smiling at him. Because he loves it so. Or Loves Loves Loves just laying back with X-Ray on relaxed days

X-Ray treats Vav honestly. Like, whenever he does good. Like, every new think Vav is able to do, X-Ray gives him a treat. Because he loves this man and is so worried about him. Loves and holds him.

Vav understands he needs to heal though. And he isn't happy about it, but helps X-Ray hang up their suits for a while. Vav still has days where he wakes up panicking and thinking everything's a dream and he still can't go anywhere without X-Ray, but he can actually leave the house everyday that he has to.

vAV is not allowed to be a hero anymore. Like, honestly, the therapist is just "literally, its gonna fuck him right up" and X-Ray holds the crying Vav because he feels useless now. He's just sobbing so badly. And holding on because being a hero is all he wants in life. All he needs.
POOR BOY
I'm sobbing. Why do I do this? But Vav starting to get better but he's apologizing to X-Ray for putting him through this. Holding him and sobbing. Clinging to him. He's just a fucking mess and needs him to be okay. He feels so bad about everything he did to X-Ray and he just loves him. He's so happy that X-Ray doesn't hate him, though. And Vav is just crying. And the therapist is just "yea, he got fucked up badly. just, he gotta come here" and honestly vav has anxiety at this point (obviously)

Ray is fucking suffering. And Vav is too. He's a mess just mumbling that X-Ray is gone. That he can't be here. That he can't be imagining all this again. And again. And again. And he hurts. Has a complete breakdown as MK just holds him with a sickly satisfied smirk. And that does it for X-Ray because he's just anger and pain and needs to save Vav, even if it's too late. He has to do something to stop him from hurting, breaking. And Hilda and Ash try to stop him, but it's too late because
X-Ray is already running towards MK and he almost gets to him when MK shoves Vav out of the way and just grabs X-Ray, smirking and being a bitch. "Can't you just leave him? You've caused him enough pain. Let him forget you, he's better here." And X-Ray is screaming and cursing and swinging his arms just trying to reach Mk while Vav is on the ground in a ball just trying to remind himself of what is real, but he doesn't know anymore honestly
FUCK ME UP yes this is perfect everyone is really just. fucked up. and it’s just a MESS. the only one who’s benefiting is mk of course
No one suspects Mad King kidnapping Vav because his plan was ruined. I'm screaming. When X-Ray finally figures it out and confronts MK with Hilda and Ash, there's just a broken Vav in the background and MK just bring him up and Vav literally screaming because he's thinking his dreaming and hiding against MK cause he thought that he was over X-Ray dying and imagining him there, shouting about things and blaming him
he thought he was done he thought it was ok now he thought for once he could have a chance of forgetting but the _ days without incident board in the other room needs to be reset because before he screams he freezes up and clutches at himself so tightly he might bleed- you’re gone, he says, stop it, go away-ray tries to say something and he loses it, completely goes nuts, pissed and scared and just as bad as before. he’s tried so hard, god, fucking, dammit he’s so tired of this. he buries his face in mk’s side hoping that it’ll stop again soon, please.meanwhile ray is watching with shaking fists, an uneasy upset in his stomach as he realizes he is way too fucking late anymore
