AXEL: does everyone your brother gets close to end up losing fights? this is the fifth time i've seen ethan come home black and blue from head to toe this week.

he’s not sure if the blood covering him belongs to him or the numerous guys who had been taunting him after finding pictures of a boy in his wallet. he’s also not sure how he managed to remember dexter’s address in his muddled mind. knocking on the door weakly, he’s leaning on the wall to keep himself up, turning just in time to vomit onto the floor, the majority being blood.

“ w — what do you think? ” he's got his hands clasped behind him, standing on the tips of his toes as he waits anxiously for the other's response. he's standing just outside of the fitting room, clad in a pink pleated skirt that he'd picked out just a few minutes ago. the hem fell about mid-thigh, and he wonders if it's too short — “ this is stupid. danny, i — i'm sorry i dragged you all the way out here. it — doesn't suit me. it's stupid. ” and maybe he's always wanted to wear a skirt, thinking that it would look fairly decent on him, but he was really starting to question that notion.
