A proposition to write a better relationship for Pentellow

Bonjam, TPC fandom. I hear your cries, your pleas, your hearts shattering from how shallow Pentellow's relationship with Iris is. But don't give up, I have a solution.

So, for anyone reading this who knows about the Geometry Dash fanseries (with the world's most complex lore, second only to the Kirby franchise) The Final Battle of Geometry Dash, I propose an idea:

Pentellow x The Darkness.

OK HEAR ME OUT ON THIS ONE. JUST FOR A MOMENT. HEAR ME OUT.

So the lore/story for it would be: Basically, Pentellow re-evaluates her relationship with Iris after starting to wonder if there's something that feels truer, something more powerful, something more out there that she could just never feel with Iris. Of course she'd do anything to know what she's looking for. It's the kind of longing, the kind of desperation that leaves one feeling so restless. Eventually from some form of encounter, she (on her own) has a run-in with the Darkness and the question arises: is it really *that* gay to kiss girls So yeah. Now Pantellow/questioning Pentellesbian is absolutely head-over-heels. For someone who's generally seen as worse than corrupts. And now her morals, her worldview, EVERYTHING is being flipped upside down.

Et voila, moral corruption via the "sweet completely-innocent" protagonist falling for an absolute baddie. Undoubtedly one of the most fun tropes to write. Side notes: -Idk, I just hc the darkness as being transfem. ok?? does the absence of light NEED to have a gender???? /lh -the darkness x obscurity is better than pentiris but would still never work out in a million years. -pantellow. it's right in the name goddamnit.

"...oh, still here? uh. female. but like, not in a comprehensible way. good luck trying to figure that out lol" the light: "male, though not in a way a human could comprehend." oculus: "i am genderless. any pronouns are fine." slum: "..." keeper of portals: "all of 'em."

note: i have a theory that the keymaster is actually astigmatism from undertale. like come on they have the same personality, design n' everything.

-spooky is apothirose and agender -octocube is non-binary (the rest of the chests down there are filled with their xeno hoard /silly), pansexual, and nebulasexual. -the keymaster is also non-bin (and polyxeno ^^), sapphic/trixen, nebularose and demiromantic -the gatekeeper is gaaaaaaaaay. as well as greyrose. -biscuit is bigender (implied but hey, might as well put it here) -the obscurity is agender aroace (more specifically demiromantic and borderromantic) -the darkness is XtF (albeit not really giving a shit about the human concept of gender) and pansexual. -the light is transmasc XtM and heterosexual. -potbor would go up to the guy at burger king and be like "BITCH MY BOYFRIEND RIGHT HERE ORDERED NO PICKLES" -spooky is AuDHD and is asocial. -the keymaster is AuDHD, synesthesia and MjDD. -what'd you expect, octocube to NOT be on the schizophrenia spectrum? anyways that motherfucker is schizospec asf with a lil' (a lot) of BPD sprinkled in. as well as plurality. and, ofc, AUDHD BABYYYYYY -obscurity. has. bpd. THIS IS LITERALLY ALMOST CANON. (and autistic w/ social anxiety & ptsd from the events of octocube gaining power and force-fusing into the dark obscurity) -the darkness is, you guessed it, audhd. and antisocial. listen, all of the aspd flags aren't black and red for nothing. (also ptsd from literally being exiled and condemned by their other half) -the light has npd. i dunno man, seems like a narc to me /lh /ref -the gatekeeper has ptsd (implied in canon), and memory issues -biscuit's just a silly lil guy. and vv much autistic

the keymaster x octocube. i don't think this needs further explaining. i could go on and on about the specifics but i have some apothiace mootie patooties so for now i'll just keep it all buried in the notes of my ipod touch 6 from 2017 where no one will see all of the ways in which my brain went wrong. also ofc they cuddle tf did you expect, you really expect me, *me* to make a ship and *not* have cuddles involved?? rebuilding the tfbogd fandom because holy hell this fandom's been dead for 7 years

ok ok so like, go watch gd fanmades. now, to understand the chronological order and the fanon lore spanning across several creators' channels, you'd had to have been there but it's not too late. disclaimer: you do NOT have to learn spanish to understand most of the lore. i promise you it'll make sense so there are three main timelines: -the la bestia timeline -the final battle of geometry dash timeline (and then there's sub-timelines but i'll get to those later) -like, anything else. lore highlights of the la bestia timeline: -the keymaster gets possessed -i think spooky dies at one point but gets revived? -plural gatekeeper real -scratch gets kidnapped -geometry dash actually gets destroyed -it turns out octocube has a sibling (we have trans rep now. AJDBWSJBCSJBCJISBSCJKSBAIC /pos) -octo's sibling is actually vv chill -oh also the gatekeeper falls in love with the player for a sec. i think it's implied that he thought the player was either octocube or rubrub? either way WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FU- -iirc scratch and/or potbor commit war crimes, so they got that goin' for 'em

lore highlights of the tfbogd (final battle of geometry dash) timeline: -the obscurity just... existing. like, more bpd-coded than spinel herself. i love this lil guy fr fr. vv kinnable for my cluster b ass. -the entire arc of octocube actually being the darkness actually fusing with obscurity but also being obscurity- it's your choice if you want to take that as canon or them being separate characters, personally i like to think they're separate. -the darkness being a girlboss fr fr. bro woke up and chose violence and im all for it -they got the whole light and dark concept better than legend of korra did which is saying something lol -the light isn't actually a "good" person, they're amoral. -hello keymaster x player fans, we have a lil' something for you! other timelines' lore highlights: -slum is kinda just gender ngl -discount bill cipher being everywhere. -yes, oculus (the ruler of levels) counts as a character. no, they're not in any fanmade *videos*, but we all accept them as a character in the series -i forget which video it is but to all the "spooky is apothiaro" mfs out there, i'm sorry

implied thingies that i turned into headcanons and now just go with it: -bpd obscurity real -aspd darkness real -octocube is the epitome of the psychosis/schizophrenia spectrum -i ship keycube and no one can stop me (i think there's some, uh........... stuff implied in one of the fanmades, all i remember is that it wasn't made by phoenix or rmr24hd) -scratch has committed war crimes (i think everyone can agree on this ngl) -biscuit is bigender or at the very least not cis (tbf she does use he/she pronouns canonically) -triple a battery obscurity real (agender aroace)
