To Sam was shocked when he walked into the St. James household was an understatement. He’d thought that it was going to be a simple costume/mask party. He’d thanked the heavens that he’d picked a costume that required a suit, that being Jim Halpert as Goldenface from his favorite show, The Office U.S.. Though he felt a little dumb, as it seemed as if everyone was just dressed in evening wear and masks, not actual costumes. Sticking his hands in his pockets, Sam made a beeline for the bar, making his order while shooting the bartender a smile, “Whiskey, neat. Thanks.” After getting his drink, Sam turned around to lean against the bar, sipping his drink and talking mindlessly, “Pretty big turnout, huh?”

             A MASKED HALLOWEEN PARTY

Oscar Wilde once said, ‘Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.’ and that statement couldn’t be more true than when it came to our fair town of Riverdale during Halloween.

Every year after the children have finished their greedy rounds from door to door asking for candy and their parents have put them to bed, it’s time for the adults to come out and play. This year’s hostess of the festivities is the one and only Jackie St. James.

In celebration of their upcoming nuptials, the St. James family, with the help of the Mayor herself, decided to throw a masked Halloween engagement party at the St. James estate. No expense was spared in this extravagant celebration of love.

And although the guest list was meant to include only the most important families and influential fellow Northsiders, along with close friends of the happy couple, an unforeseen error accidentally sent invitations to everyone in town. Serpents, Ghoulies, Southsiders and everything in between were now on the guestlist and there was no time for extra security or to cancel the party.

With everyone hiding behind a mask and holding an invite to the party who knows what kind of tricks or treats our fellow Riverdalers are going to get up to.

The event will be running from 12am CST -  Saturday, October 26th to 11:59pm CST - Monday, October 28th

The in-character date is SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2019.

During this time the dash should only consist of HALLOWEEN posts/convos to prevent confusion.

You will have up until one week AFTER HALLOWEEN to finish up and post all paras.

All posts should be tagged GDHQHALLOWEEN, we will maintain our usual starter tag during this time.

Did you think you were safe?

Just one part of a chilling message found in the early morning hours in Fox Forest. In the dead of night he has been slinking into homes and so called safe spaces, reaching into cars, lots, trailers, and restaurants “to take the guilty and bring about justice that Riverdale so desperately needs”. Riverdale PD have discovered what appears to have been a mass grave of all of the most recent victims and people that have gone missing. Deep within Fox Forest, a trench found alongside what used to be a clean stream now a pit for corpses. Among them engaged lovers from the Northside, a dancer, Ghoulies and Serpents, a Riverdale police officer, and many, many more. Each victim appears to have been killed in various ways, some with obvious ligature marks, others knife wounds, gunshot wounds, but all met a very gruesome end. A generic note was found among the corpses. Riverdale’s Sheriff could not be reached for comment at this time.

THE LETTER

This is the Black Hood. Did you think you were safe? Did you think that I had gone? I am the man who shot the adulterer at Pops. I killed the child predator in Greendale. I shot the drug and sex addicted teenagers at Lover’s Lane. Riverdale is not innocent. It’s a town of hypocrites, degenerates, and criminals. My wrath is the price of your lies, your secrets, your sins. I will continue to hunt the guilty and bring about a justice Riverdale so desperately needs. I will not stop. I cannot be stopped. I am the wolf and you are the flock. This is the bloodletting.

You are not safe.

You are not innocent.

WELCOME BACK TO SUMMER 2018

Summer was such a simpler time. The days were long and the nights were hot in our small town. Aside from the small incidents between Serpents and Ghoulies or the occasional Bulldog trying to cause trouble, everything was quiet. To help break up the boring days, Sebrina Smythe would like to invite you to her annual end of Summer pool party. 

For one night only doors are opened North, South and everything in between – anyone who is looking to have a good time. Just remember the house rules.

This event will run from 12am PST on Monday, December 31 to 11:59pm Monday, January 7th.

The in-character date is Saturday, July 28, 2018, 

almost three months to the date before Sebrina Smythe disappeared. 

Sebrina will be a complete NONE PLAYABLE CHARACTER that means that she is always there and can be used by anyone.

During this time the dash should only consist of REWIND posts/convos to prevent confusion.

The IC Discord party will open at 12am PST Friday, December 4th and close at 11:59pm Sunday, January 6th.

You will have up until one week AFTER REWIND to finish up and post all paras.
