"Jiyong you're scaring me"
"You were meant to be with me"
"Stop waving the gun around"
You reached forward trying to grab the gun, your hand shaking uncontrollably your breathing becoming unsteady by the minute, he moved his hand away.
"Stop trying to manipulate me! This is all your fault you're the only one to blame!"
"Put the gun down and talk to me Jiyong!"
"That's what you want isn't it for me to put the gun down so you can take it and kill me again."
"You're not making any sense calm down"
She tried reaching for him again he steps back
"Why couldn't you just love me?" Tears were streaming down his face choking on his sobs.
"Why couldn't you just love me and only me?" Hitting himself in the chest with the gun He kneels on the ground
"Was I not enough?"
"I love you Jiyong but I love him to"
"That's not fair, I loved you first I was here first! You are mine and mine only! I don't want to die alone"
"You're not going to I loved you and still love you just not in that way"
"What like a brother or a friend? Ha you're funny, funny.. funny girl"
He gets up from the ground, striding over to you, you starts taking steps back.
"But if you think that I am going to let you walk out of my life"
He grabs you by the throat his strength being enough to lift you off the ground your airway getting cut off.
You ran your hands through his electric yellow colored hair; he was exhausted, work, upholding a decent public image, and maintaining relationships could definitely drain a person dry of all energy. You listen intently to his even breathing and know there’s no place you’d rather be.
Jiyong was your best friend, lover, and soulmate, all wrapped into one happy man. He kept you sane so it was only fair that you do the same for him. You both reveled in nights like these where you could sip wine and watch the latest drama and he could just nuzzle into your lap and sleep for hours on end.
Meeting this man was rather unconventional; he had been walking down a sidewalk unbeknownst to you for he was surrounded by heavy security. One of which who carelessly bumped into you spilling hot coffee all over you. Nearly scalding your chest you were rather flustered, you screamed at the man to at least apologize like a decent human being. He only scoffed at you as if you were a mere peasant.
You were seconds away from going off on the arrogant body guard until a smaller more innocent looking man left the circle formed around him to step in front of you. He bowed in front of you, he apologized to you and offered to clean your shirt.
You didn’t recognize him right away in fact it wasn’t until he put his contact information in your phone that you realized that this person was Kwon Jiyong. You were phased a little but you figured you’d take care of this problem and that would be it.
Jiyong pursued you hard; you didn’t have any relative interest in the life he lived. You were far too reserved a person to want your life displayed in tabloids and online articles. But the insolent Dragon would not be deterred.
You fingers ceased as you let out a chuckle; the way he won you over was ridiculous but endearing at the same time. You tried to contain your laughter but you let out a giggle at the thought of him dressed as a panda.
“What’s so funny jagi?”
“I didn’t mean to wake you,” you said softly resuming your work, “Go back to your nap.”
“Were you laughing at me?”
You covered your mouth to hide your guilty smile but your blushing cheeks was what really gave you away.
“Yah, you are aren’t you?” he accused sitting up fully, “What is it? Was I drooling?”
You chuckled harder when he began checking his chin for slobber, “You’re face is fine oppa.”
“Is it my hair?”
“No,” you couldn’t contain your secret anymore you had to let him in on it, “Remember when you dressed up as a panda Jiyongie to impress me? And you were so convincing until you tripped over a crack in the floor?”
He sighed and his agitated face only made you chuckle more, “I swear you fell so hard you broke your face.”
“Aish, don’t think I’ll ever do something like that again for you.”
“But you were so cute dressed up as my favorite animal.”
“Well I’m glad it’s ingrained in your memory cause it’s never happening again!”
He called over his shoulder heading for what you assumed to be the bathroom.
“Aw oppa, don’t be embarrassed!”
You made haste to catch up with him wrapping your arms around him, “You won me over with that silly costume.”
“I did, didn’t I?”
You nodded along with an enthusiastic hum, “You should be proud not embarrassed, not many men would do what you did for me…”
#2- “I promised myself I wouldn’t let you complete me .” - Jiyong x Reader - Angst- Requested by @runningmancompilations
You sat starting at the phone in your hands in dumbfounded shock. There, on your screen, was image after image of your boyfriend with another woman. And not just any woman, but the model from his latest fashion shoot.
You choked back a sob. You should have known this was coming... should've known that an ordinary woman like you could never have hoped to hang on to someone like him. Where he was wild and adventurous, you were calm and quiet. He had always said that you were his balance, the yin to his yang. And he had been the one to break you out of your shell, to challenge you to try new and exciting things.
But now that was all over.
Sighing heavily, you went to another site, absently sliding through the photos one by one. In one they were holding hands, in another kissing, and yet another of Jiyong hugging her tightly to him with his trademark smile splashed across his gorgeous face. And all of the articles were gushing about just how good they looked together and how perfectly suited they were for each other.
Just then your text message alert went off. Checking to see who it was, you saw that it had come from from your best friend.
'OMG __________! I am going to kill that lousy bastard the next time I see him! Are you okay? Please answer me.'
No... you were not okay, but you sent her back a lie just so she would leave you alone. Then you angrily shut off your phone, even going so far as to take the battery out. If you knew that his love affair was splashed all over the internet, then it was a safe bet that Jiyong knew as well. You didn't have much time to carry out your plans of leaving before he came looking for you. So, you grabbed your luggage and starting packing, carefully folding and placing anything that he had bought for you over the course of your one year relationship on your once shared bed.
Doing that meant that you weren't taking much with you, in fact it all fit into one suitcase, but you'd be damned if you were going to keep anything that he had paid for. The last thing to go on top of the pile was a black velvet box. He hadn't bought it... but you couldn't stand the thought of taking it with you.
With one last sad look around the apartment, you walked out, leaving your life with Jiyong behind.
Mere minutes later, a frantic Jiyong burst through the front door.
“___________-ah!” he called out urgently. “Jagi? Why aren't you answering your phone? I.....”
He came to a halt as he came to the bedroom and spotted the pile of things on the bed. He walked closer and reached out to take the letter that was on top. Holding it tightly in his trembling hands, he began to read:
I can't stay. Even if you wanted to try and move past this, I'm just not ready to forgive or forget. This isn't what I wanted.
You always jump into things... leap first and think later. While I've always seen things better from a distance. I guess I don't have to tell you that. Too bad that you were only thinking of the here and now while I was looking at our future.
When you wanted to keep our relationship quiet, I assumed it was to keep the gossip from coming out. That way no one would know that you were with me and they wouldn't think that I was trying to sleep my way to the top or anything. I thought you were trying to protect me. Turns out that you were only thinking of yourself and your precious reputation.
It doesn't matter now. I just wish that I had known sooner that we were only... what, friends with benefits? Especially before I wasted two months salary on what's in the box. You know, it's funny... once it dawned on me that I've been kidding myself for the past year, I was actually grateful to find out this way. At least you didn't reject me to my face or worse, leave me at the altar. That would have been so much more embarrassing.
But now that I've had time to think about it, I wish you had respected me enough to tell me that you'd fallen in love with someone else. Because the way you did it, slowly shutting me out over the past few months, as if our time together and what I thought we shared meant less than nothing at all to you? Well, that hurt a hell of a lot worse. I know how clueless you can be about personal stuff, but it would have helped if you'd just told me that you didn't want me anymore. Do you know how much it hurt to find out from the internet?
I know you didn't mean to hurt me, Jiyong. You would have had to remember that I exist to want to hurt me. And you haven't... not for a while now. I can't even remember the last time we had dinner alone. When I would ask, you would always have plans already. Or worse, you would accept and then forget to show up. It got so bad that I had to resort to asking Seungri when you were actually at work in the YG building so that I could stop by and see you. Eventually I even stopped doing that... I wonder if you even noticed.
But you know, I still gave you the benefit of the doubt. I figured you were crazy busy. It happens... especially with your lifestyle and career. But it never once occurred to me that you were actually spending your time getting busy with one of the models you were working with.
I'm sorry, Jiyong. I'm sorry that I trusted you with my heart. I gave you everything I had from the moment I met you. And now... I can't anymore.
I want you to have what's in the box. I can't return them, but maybe you can have the engraving removed. Or if that's too tacky, maybe have them melted down into cufflinks or something. Either way, I don't have a use for them any more and I don't really want to look at them ever again.
I hope she's good to you. I don't like her very much right now, but she's all the things I never was and I'll just have to accept that. So, be happy Jiyong. And... just try being honest with her, okay?
I might love you, Jiyong... but I love me more. And I promised myself I wouldn't let you complete me.
The tears were flowing freely down his face now. Dreading what he was going to find, he picked up the jewelry box and popped it open. He swallowed heavily, looking down at matching platinum rings that were tastefully inlaid with a beautiful mother of pearl yin yang symbol.
Right then, he knew that he had lost everything just for a stupid fling. His balance was gone... and it was all his fault.
Hiyaaa, could you write a scenario with number 14 and 2? With lil fluffball kwon jiyong? Xx
A/N: Sorry it took me so long to do it!! I hope you like em though!! They were so much fun to write!! ~Red
14. “You knocked on my door at 1 in the morning….to cuddle?”
You sat up in your bed staring out into the darkness of the night that surrounded you. Pulling your knees up to your chest you looked down at your phone on the table beside your bed. Nothing. No notification light blinking brightly and no message from your boyfriend. He had texted you early that morning letting you know that he’d have a busy day and not to worry if he didn’t text you. You understood, of course, but still missed him. Looking around the room you thought for a minute. It was lonely, cold, and scary there all by yourself so after a little thinking you knew exactly what you wanted to do. What you had to do.
“I can’t believe you’re actually going to make me do this…” you mumbled to yourself, sighing, as you threw the blanket off of you and got up. After throwing on a pair of jogging pants and one of Jiyong’s tank tops that he tended to leave at your place, you grabbed your jacket and your phone and were on your way. You grabbed your keys and stared down at the bright screen of your phone as you closed and locked the door behind you. Typing away you started walking.
“Jiyongie!! What are you doing?”
Jiyong heard the buzzing of his phone and walked toward it laying on his kitchen table. A huge smile crossed his face as he read who it was from. He furrowed his brows though as he looked at the time.
“I just got home. Why are you still awake? Shouldn’t you be asleep by now?”
You smiled at his response. He was at home. Good. This trip wouldn’t be for nothing after all.
“I couldn’t sleep. Talk to me for a while?”
Jiyong smiled at his phone, sitting down on his couch and turning on the TV.
“I was planning on going to sleep but okay. Anything for you baby <3”
You couldn’t help the blush that crept on your cheeks as you read the reply. You continued on your way, messaging back and forth with Jiyong for a while making sure not to tell him what you were actually up to. It didn’t take as long as you thought it would. Maybe it was because Jiyong kept you distracted, leaving your mind to think about him rather than the time.
Standing in front of the door you smiled, knocking on it lightly. You could hear him shuffle inside as he made his way toward the door.
Jiyong opened it wondering who would be knocking on it at one in the morning and his eyes widened when he saw you standing there, smiling shyly.
“What are you doing here? Did you walk all the way over here? Is this why you refused to tell me where you were or what you were doing? Do you not know what time it is? What if you got hurt or robbed? What would I do then?” he half yelled and you smiled at him, tilting your head as he pulled you into his apartment to look you up and down to make sure you were still in one piece. He was worried and you couldn’t help the snicker that escaped your lips. His head snapped up to look at you and you could tell he was actually a bit mad at you.
“I was lonely…and scared…and I missed you…I wanted to cuddle,” you admitted putting on your best sad puppy face and he sighed at you.
“You knocked on my door at one in the morning….to cuddle? Why didn’t you just call me? I would have come over to your house.”
Walking towards him you wrapped your arms around his chest and placed your head right above his heart with a smile on your face.
“Do you want to cuddle or not? Because I’ll go back home if you don’t.”
Jiyong shook his head as his hands wrapped around your waist.
“Do you really think I’ll let you go now?”
Leading you toward his couch, he laid down and pulled you to lay on top of him, covering both of you with a blanked as he stared down at you, placing a soft kiss onto your forehead.
