If anyone is in the Lakewood/Denver (CO) area or is willing to make the commute I highly recommend checking out GeekOut Cafe (Not an actual cafe) they’re a board game shop and event space. They allow anyone and everyone to play board games, especially if you’ve never played it before, they also host D&D campaigns on Friday’s (6 PM - 9 PM though it has been known to run until 10 PM before) and has added Saturdays (2 PM - 5 PM) (all skill levels are welcome), they also just added an Animal Crossing night! Everyone there is extremely kind the place is friendly to people of all ages so if you can’t leave your children alone or can’t find a babysitter you can bring them with you! Go have a great time or at least check it out and see if you like it :)
