FlameCon is the world's biggest LGBTI-centered comic con event.

Started by Geeks Out, a non-profit dedicated to empowering and promoting the queer geek community, FlameCon is the largest LGBTI comic con in the world. This year, the third annual FlameCon brought in 40% more ticket sales. It’s no surprise, considering how much LGBTI representation in the geek community is needed.

‘Community is the biggest reason why [this event was created],’ says Michelle Micor of FlameCon’s PR department.

Unlike mainstream comic con events, FlameCon provides pronoun stickers for attendees and centers LGBTI artists.
