forgot to post this last month....saw this awesome bronco while washing my truck the other day. . . it was currently being restored. New shocks and springs, entire under carriage was painted with heavy duty bed liner, all chromes polished, amongst many other things. The guy was really cool and let me snap a few pics. Glad to see people still turn wrenches.

I fell in love with this patina milk truck
Today I got to shoot around at a benefit car show in celebration of Armando Hernandez of San Angelo. He was a 3-time winner of Lowrider Magazines Truck of the Year with "Pure Insanity". The work on this truck was next to none and I was glad to be able to see it in person. It was by chance that I even found out about this show going on today. I was vacuuming my truck and there was a guy detailing his bagged s10. I asked him if I could get a couple of shots and we got to talking. I posted his truck yesterday. Today was the shoot and I showed up a few hours into it and there was a great turnout. A lot of support for the family. Anyways I’m not going to say too much more and lets the pictures tell the story. Take care.

I must admit...living here isn’t what I thought it was going to be at all.
Its worse.
It is also better, and different. It can be a lot of things on any given day here but most of all as my days pass here I think it is needed. I haven't seen a drilling rig in weeks. I am virtually to the point where I don’t drink anymore. And I’m pretty proud of that. I didn't realize how stressed out I was before working MWD and living in Midland and attempting to live a life that I just knew in my heart I didn't agree with. I think a big part of it was that I just wasn't ready to live that kind of lifestyle quite yet. I don’t need then thousand dollars a month. I don’t need to work months at a time.
It was nice some parts of it don’t get me wrong. I just wasn’t ready for it right now. Right now I need my dog and new friends and time to fish. I like fishing. I don’t catch much, but I like to fish. Thats another post for another time. Until then take care.
my favorite place of this park. I've wanted to take this shot properly for quite awhile.
