From Trieste with love
Hello my dear fellas!
I'm Massimiliano from Trieste, a (not-so) small town in the north-east of Italy which is also at the border with Slovenia, the most green country in Europe. Due to the closeness of the area to foreign countries and as many citizens of Trieste, the so-called triestini, I come from a mixed-blood family with several ancestors from all Europe (Slovenia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, France, Austria and, of course, Italy). Currently, I'm doing a master in Filmmaking and Media Arts at the University of Glasgow. In 2013, I graduated in 'Communication, media & Advertising' at the IULM University in Milan. In the past I worked as a waiter, promoter and video news reporter (mainly for Bora.la and Impatto Visivo Trieste).
Beyond this formal paragraph above I can tell you that I love so much cooking (Italians love cooking? what a cliché ahahah!), brushing my yellow dog called Gegia, going to run or cycle and, of course, getting fat in front of a first-rate tv series (actually I'm getting addicted to 'Boardwalk Empire', 'Master of Sex' and 'House of Cards') or a film (my favs are 'Fight Club', 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind', 'Otto e mezzo', 'Midnight in Paris', 'The Departed', 'Once upon time in America').
What else? I imagine you're going to find out through my posts on this blog.
So, quoting 'Home Alone 2', have fun you...filthy animal!

P.S. If you wanna know more about my beautiful town surrounded by the sea and the mountains let's read 'Trieste and the meaning of nowhere, written by the former Allies soldier Ian Morris.
