May 27th, 2026: A double surprise on a rainy day! Hanae (はな恵) of Tsurui (つる居) in Gion Kobu is celebrating her misedashi while her onesan Erika (恵里佳), also of Tsurui, celebrates her erikae! Like with Sayaka before her, Tsurui had no active geiko, so Erika took over onesan duties the same day she had her erikae! Tsurui likes dressing their girls in kuromontsuki with waves for misedashi and erikae, and this day was no different (although very appropriate!); they symbolize change and new beginnings, which is perfect for such a celebration. Erika's outfit features cranes over waves with a golden obi of shippō and karabana while Hanae's outfit features waves, shōchikubai, and kai awase and a golden shippō and karabana obi ^^ おめでとうさんどす恵里佳さんとはな恵ちゃん ^o^!
