ICAD, Day Two: “For the love of you.” This is how I believe our fur buddies feel about us.
I started with an index card I decorated by layering colors of acrylic paint and patterned foam strips with my Gel Press. I wish you could see the bits of shimmer throughout.
The little dog is from the @julie_nutting cling stamp set “Dog Treats.” The legs are from her paper doll cling stamp “Natalie.”
I stamped on card stock, colored little touches with Gel Pens, and fussy-cut them out. The dog is popped up with pop dots.
ICAD 2017, Day 6: I'm still having fun with my Julie Nutting paper doll stamps and Gel Press. This adorable penpal is from the "Lots of Love" stamp set set. I especially enjoy working with smaller dolls.
ICAD, Day 5: “Be Awesome!”
The index card is one I decorated with the Gel Press. I stamped the unamed Julie Nutting doll on a page from a beaten up vintage thesaurus, brushed on Aquarelle Neocolor II crayons with a water brush, and cut her out.
I accidentally cut one of the sleeves from her arm and thought, hey! I like that, so I did the same with the other one. I curled the sleeves slightly so that they poof up from the card.
I learned vintage paper is super easy to cut, which means I’ll be using it again. 🙄
