Ahhhm Im not in the mood to do a complete sketchbook tour so here are some highlights from my current one (49th)

2021 jun 15 // Enjoying some junk journal play in my altered passport

I think, or hope, I will find inspiration to continue with the other two junk journals.

Anyways, I used a thin sheet of foam to make a cross, which I used with black acrylic paint for the three crosses. It’s such an easy way of creating stamps for making simple patterns. These are the ones I’ve made so far: (except for the yellow one on top, that’s just a round wooden thingy I found somewhere)

2021 okt 12 // I’m running out of collage fodder and decided to make some more gelli prints. The only place with room enough for some gelli printing is in our hallway 😄

Below is the after picture, though I have to admit I’m not much of a mess maker

I used to be ridiculously messy like half a lifetime ago, but living with cats for years teaches you to keep it tidy (also living in small apartments).

Anyways, here are some of the finished results:

I really do love this kind of journals! With worn and torn grungy papers. This latest one, I’d say the pages on their own look good enough, but I do intend to use it for art journaling. I just have no clue how 😄 I’ll give it a shot later, but for now, here are a few close ups:
