Fanbinding: Drink With Me by Ink&Dagger
After almost 8 months I can finally reveal my secret project, a fan bind of one of the most delicious Silco fics ever. Drink With Me was a monster of a book, and I had so much fun letting it get bigger and bigger. The cover art is gold, orange, and black heat transfer vinyl (that didn't want to photograph well on the spine)
The original plan was red, gold, and black for the color motif, but when I saw the name "whiskey" for a color of Duo cloth I had to. I had to. So the headbands have a dark brown instead of black to match the spine cloth. The endpapers were marbled by hand by a friend of mine on gold paper.
The typeset was the most involved I've ever done so far. I cannot stop myself from maximalist all the time, even when I'm trying to be subtle, which I wasn't, here. I went nuts with the flowers.
I commissioned the title page art from the wonderfully talented @celine-designs because I knew exactly what I wanted it to be and knew I'd need like 10 years to be able to draw it myself. It needed to be that moment. I took inspo from Celine's label design for the cover art.
Anyway thank you so much @ink-and-dagger for this joyous ride of a story. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, I stayed up way too late reading, I had to remind myself I was asexual a few times. I wanted to return your labor of love with one of my own. Thank you for sharing this story with all of us, and I hope when you see this you see a reflection of the incredible time and effort you put into your writing.

I'm currently working on a handmade edition with my art school, here's some illustrations of it ! :D
It's called "À la fin, l'horizon" ("In the end, the horizon")
The story is about a traveler with their mule wandering in the world, they don't really have an goal but to go beyond the horizon, like if it calls them and they tried to reach it.
We didn't have a lot a time to do our editions (3 month to write the idea, create the images, edit it, choose the paper, print it and bookbinding it by hand with other works simultaniously) so i'm not very convince by my storytelling and some illustrations but because I had to rush it a little bit it's better than nothing !
Alchemised by SenLinYu
SenLinYu's first published novel has been rebound into a one-of-a-kind heirloom piece! Title page is signed by the author SenLinYu. Constructed with 100% cotton imitation black leather, the cover features a geometric gothic design on the front and back, as well as a gold title on the spine, all foiled in red and gold entirely by hand. The book edges are gilded in weathered gold foil, and the end papers are an original alchemy design by the artist @boypilotgoods on instagram.
