Tired of throwing out your salt once you’ve used it to cleanse your gemstones?
Sage it!
What I do is keep the salt in the bowl or container and place an ashtray full of loose sage fresh off the stick right in the middle. (if the bowl isn’t big enough just place the ashtray or whatever you’d like to use next to the bowl with the salt.) I light the sage and place a colander (one I don’t use for cooking anymore) upside down over it and leave it.
After a couple minuets I stir the salt up a little and cover it back up with the colander. Once the sage has stopped smoking I put the salt in a container and store it for the next time I need to cleanse my stones.
I usually do this about three times before throwing the salt out.
