Some people are surprised that Garnet poofed Peridot so brutally.

But it makes perfect sense if you think about it.

Garnet is a love-based fusion. Keeping It Together was traumatizing for her. She was horrified and disgusted and shocked by the evil of the fusion-mutants. It’s an unspeakable atrocity that strikes home at a personal level.

Peridot participated in that, and she was pleased to see they were coming along so well. No remorse. No “this is a bad thing but necessary”. Just the satisfaction of a job well done.

I’m surprised that Garnet had the restraint not to shatter Peridot. This shit is personal.

I named the one with arms “Arms Galore” and the big one, the one that reminds me of a tank from Left 4 Dead “Tank”. Those are their names now. I like Arms Galore myself she is so pretty.
