Interesting Gem Facts: Okenite is generally made of small, thin crystals formed together to look like a cotton ball (on very rare occasions, single blade-like crystals of Okenite can form). The small crystals are flexible, but it is hard to test this without bending too much and breaking off the crystal. Though it looks soft and fuzzy, Okenite is very fragile, and is easily damaged by people touching it. Because of its frailty, Okenite is not used as jewelry despite its cool appearance.
