the last ask i have for now is how easy is it to mix gembitties with UT bitties? i have one ut au bitty who (storywise) was in a shelter and is standoffish and snappy to new people but is protective of his owner and others once he warms up to them, im wary of introducing new bitties to him due to him being abandoned by his previous owner and i dont want him to think that im going to replace him, he's warmed up to my family and pets tho, so i think that it can happen
I have a mutt type bitty so they are semi-socialized (and im using this term loosely) towards other types of bitties but I personally would let the gembitties know about his personality and history beforehand and make sure that they know to be easy on him. A few might be impatient in befriending him, other may ignore him at first until he comes to them. Really it might just depend on what type of gems you adopt. Omega Pearl, Emerald, and Citrine types will be more inclined to fuss and fawn over him.
