Sorry for the lack of Kyoko updates - truth be told I hit a little snag that I wasn't sure how I wanted to proceed with. It happens often when I haven't painted for a while, being out of practice. And since I haven't painted since I worked on Chibiusa in January, I definitely needed to stretch the muscles a bit before I actually put the paint to the paper. Like I said before, I'm still hecka new to all of this as a watercolor artist. So there's still so much trial and error here when I do things. Each time I sit down and paint, I learn new things, I think of new ways to do things, I have new tools, new methods, and every single experience is new. I appreciate you all being on this crazy learnng journey with me. That being said, I've kinda devised yet another method to help keep me from having to do this whole restarting thing (because yeah, I want to restart her painting) and hopefully it helps. We'll see. Fingers crossed! I wanted to drop this BEAUTIFUL picture off though! @slytherinslittleprincess sent me these today as a little thank you for helping her with her invitations (which I'll get some nice pictures of in a bit!) and I'm REALLY excited to start using them on my new projects. I've been eyeing these babies for a hot minute (in case you can't tell, they're pearlescent colors in both pastel and brights) and I think now, with me working on the Madoka series, they'll add just the right accents to the final physical watercolors as a contrast to the dark and moody atmosphere I'm creating for them. Can't wait to use them!! #update #puellamagi #puellamagimadokamagica #pmmm #kyokosakura #water #kuretakegansaitambi #pearlcolors #gemcolors https://www.instagram.com/p/Blq2xKThSJG/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1le8u1fa4n7y4
