Noctis woofed gleefully, licking Ignis's cheek before loping off to the fire pit and his own chair. He jumped into it with the intention of sitting right down, but he still didn't quite know his own strength in this form, so the damn thing used his excess momentum to tip over and spill him onto the ground as he let out a startled yelp.
Ignis shook his head with a sigh as he stood. "Gold star for trying, Noct," he droned, smirking at the prince's whine of protest at the teasing. He retrieved Noct's plate from beside the camp stove with the intention of carrying it to him, but Noct was suddenly right next to him, snout raised high and tail kicking up a stiff breeze as he sniffed out his breakfast. "Noctis, wolf form doesn't exempt you from human etiquette. Go sit and wait for your breakfast."
Noctis grumbled softly, but did as he was told, returning to his chair and righting it before deciding he was better off laying down in front of it. Ignis set it down in front of him and he immediately snapped up the anak meat, chewing it messily as he fixed untrusting eyes on his sweet potatoes.
Ignis smirked widely as he sat back down in his chair, picking his own plate back up. "You will eat your potatoes as well, Noctis."
The prince huffed loudly, the barest hint of a growl on the end of it as he looked away from the nasty tubers invading his plate.
Ignis scoffed to himself, rolling his eyes a little. "Looks like a wolf, talks like a wolf, moves like an intoxicated wolf, but he's still a child," he muttered, exasperation and amusement mingling together in his voice.
