This is my babygirl. MY BABYGIRL.
I can’t believe I’m a mommy. I never knew a love like this and I’m so happy that I get to experience it. I feel its cliche but I’ve actually always been a closet writer and I really wanted to blog about this experience. So I have officially decided that I will be blogging about it. (BOOM ITS HAPPENING)
40 weeks and 6 days. I finally felt small contractions.
I want to start with LABOR. I was only 2cm when I went to the hospital, but they kept me. I walked a lot, within 15 minutes I was 3cm! Things seemed to be happening quickly. 4cm came an hour later and thennnn my water broke. At 4:30pm. I got an epidural immediately after because I thought I was dying lol, even though my daughter's father said I was doing really well and handled them like a BEAST I still thought I was dying and honestly I love when he pumps me up. Anyways, I got the epidural and that wasn't too enjoyable because my contractions were 4 minutes apart so every time the anesthesiologist was ready to prick me I was having a contraction so it was very hard for me to relax long enough to completely not move to get it done. (Yes I am experiencing back pain from my epidural and that will be a seperate post.) So finally I got the epidural done and felt 100000000% better. They told me my labor would significalntly slow down and that I should expect having her about 4/5am. So I had a lot of vistors around this time and before you knew it the clock struck 9:30pm, I told the nurse I felt pressure and she checked me and said “Oh your 10cm dilated and ready to push. I had NO TIME to kick people out of my room and honestly I wasnt focused on that. (Ausar wasnt even in the room but thats also going to be another post lol ) Everything was happening so fast I had no time to think so all I was doing (as they were caling my doctor) was pushing for comfort. Ausar got to the room, I instantly felt better, and now we were waiting for my doctor. 20 minutes felt like forever. He got there, I did 6 insane pushes and my little MOON BABY popped out. (You guys her head?? Alien vs Predator lmao my poor baby was in my birth canal too long. But we fixed it. She’s good now. lmao) Her name is Autumn-Luna. She came out at 10:14pm. 7 Pounds 3 Oz. 18.5 Inches. PERFECT. Once you have a baby you’re in love and theres no going back and everything about them is perfect. Even her little alien head was perfect lol.
I tore, it was small. 3 stitches. The pushing wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be, and I survived so thats all that matters. If you guys knew the anxiety I went through just THINKING about Labor you’d probably laugh at me, I was legit scared. Meanwhile, it was definetly an experience and im very happy I went through it.
SOOOOOO welcome to my mommmy blog and hopefully I keep up with it because I want to share my adventures for other mommys or soon to be mommy’s but also for myself because I just want these memories to be as fresh as possible forever. Thanks for reading.
