One of the weird things about a lot of our trauma being covert abuse is that I watch people do it to their kids all the time and nobody thinks it's that bad.
Like, I can say, "my parents forced my sister and I to hug when we disagreed." and people will say I'm dramatic.
But if I say what actually happened, "my parents forced physical contact between me and my sister for prolonged periods of time with the intention of humiliating us and degrading our boundaries." That's different, now isn't it?
And to my parents, it had the exact effect they wanted. We weren't fighting anymore. What we were doing was crying with eachother because our parents forced us to break our boundaries and it was scary and embarrassing.
We want to change our system name but we're not sure to what. We're also worried about our mutuals not recognizing us on the dash. We just feel that The Gemstone System isn't really representative of us anymore because we chose it when we assumed we had low amnesia which turned out to be very untrue. (Facets of a gemstone present as a singular gem.) Unsure how to continue.
DnD Campaign Idea: Adventures in Key Pa'weh (keep away)
Player characters don't know who their characters are, the DM keeps the character sheets. They must fight their way to the cave of the dragon to retrieve their identities. Chaos ensues.

I spent the last week (?) not knowing who was fronting at all, extremely depressed, and amnesic. There were definitely switches but nobody knew who they were and all that was in simply plural was "blurry." Idk where to go from here bc this implies the existence of more of us.
Hi!! While we've decided to change our system name, (we're now The Rockwood Collective) our username and personal tag will remain the same! Only difference is our blog title :))! This way it is less confusing on the dash but we are more comfortable :3c.

Hello! I'm Victor! I'm somewhat of a recent split, but I'm starting to want to be known and have some fronting time of my own. Life has been a learning curve so far, but I think I'm up to the challenge. As I mentioned before, I am a trauma holder, which is why I haven't included a section for dislikes because they're pretty serious. I am a pretty sensitive guy, to be honest. Yeah! Bye!
Curse whoever signed us up for the bake sale because I just had to make 5 dozen cookies. - Raleigh
