Other writers: Hetty is kind of a monster.
Gemmill, with heart eyes: But a loving one!
OW: Um…we just said she let a bunch of kids get abused and trained them to be her personal soldiers.
Gemmill: Uh-huh! Isn’t she a great mother?

Something that just made me laugh:
If Sam does reveal Densi having a girl or boy in Hawaii and then LA gets a reboot with Gemmill as the showrunner he’ll have to cater the show around someone else’s idea.
Remember that time Gemmill said that the wedding will “probably” happen after Christmas? It’s good to know they’ve really thought about this and planned it into the arc of the season and oh wait...no...no we don’t do that on this show.
I don’t know Gemmill, maybe if you actually followed through on a storyline (other than very specific ones) and didn’t waste episodes, and characters, you might have had the chance to wrap up those arcs. And I don’t know, maybe actually give us Deeks, M. And hey, maybe Hanna, S. as well. But yes, go ahead and save Hetty yet again. Write an entire season about Kilbride and his son (no hate to them or the actors), there wasn’t anything else you promised many fans for years. There weren’t other, good or unfinished storylines you should have figured out first.
Maybe you should have handed that broom to someone more capable of dealing with your hoarded storyline than you, like Frank Military. I bet he’d have found a way to fit in a lot more diverse and satisfying content.
All I gotta say is after reading that article I’m glad we didn’t get 15 cuz by the sound of it asshat would’ve destroyed our joy no matter what.
Omg! You just out into words what I thought when reading that interview. Even though I loved the finale, I'm disappointed about certain points you mention: the unfinished Kessler storyline, no Deeks, M, but yet finding time to show us Killbride and his son (and I have to admit I'm not a fan of this storyline). So thank you for saying better than I could what I thought while reading!
Hi!
I’m glad to be a voice to the rage. 😂 A lot of stories could have been better managed and finished for sure.
No offense to Linda, but I’m kind of glad she wasn’t available, because I’m sure Gemmill would have decided a lot of other scenes weren’t necessary in order to have one last rescue. Even though it was the series finale.
Okay, obviously Gemmill and Military just need to go back and forth writing the episodes because that felt like a real episode for the first time since the wedding.
