First off, first time making a spoiler tag so this disclaimer is here to buffer so spoiler text doesn't show in any preview of the post, as well as a secondary warning in case the title isn't enough. Can probably ignore this if I manage to find the right tag to spoiler it :p
So in the discussion threads, I see people already theorising that White Diamond's Pearl was once meant to be Pink's. It makes sense. Poofy hair, navel gem, gloves, and that weird crop-top/bra thing that Pink has. But if she was meant to be Pink's Pearl, why is she white? She was bleached. In real life, Pearls can be bleached to make them whiter (https://www.ganoksin.com/article/pearl-treatments-explained/). It's worth noting excessive bleaching damages Pearls. Bleaching a coloured Pearl to make it appear colourless... I can't imagine the damage it'd do to a real pearl. But why would White take a Pearl she was making for White, or at least not have one of her own Pearls as well as Pink Pearl?I'm not even going to pretend you haven't guessed what comes next. White colour scheme, all the Diamond's colours, unique Gem shape for a Pearl. Yup, our Pearl was White's OG that she lent to her child whilst prepping Pink's own Pearl. Heck, we even got a bit of fuel thrown into the fire because Pearl is the only character but Blue and Yellow Diamonds to speak out about how White Diamond can be. And it can't be a coincidence that White and Pink have Pearls that mirror the other's gem location.
I also belive that White's original Pearl - our pearl - may have been pinked (https://theassayoffice.co.uk/pearlTreatments_acexpert). Especially in some lightings, we see Pearl's gem have subtle pink tones and I don't know if this is some sort of Mandela affect but I could swear that it's glowed pink at least a few times. It's a process used to add a hint of pink to a White Pearl, appropriate for a white pearl being gifted to a pink diamond.
It's half past 1 am in the morning here, so sorry if somebody bet me to the punch or if it isn't cohesive enough.
