Are you a MCYT fan? Do you like yuri shipping? Could I interest you in an event dedicated to making more yuri creations? 

Then let me introduce you to . . .

YURI SHIPPING OLYMPICS!!!!

Here's how it works:

Teams are created based on media or specific ships that participants would like to create for. Examples of some teams that have been available in the past are Team CaitVi, Team Rosemary, and Team OCs. I am recruiting for Team MCYT this year! 

Once the event starts teams have the opportunity to create all kinds of things for their yuri ships! You can create drawings, edits, webweaves, writing, some people have even created entire visual novels! Anything creative relating to yuri is free game!

There are 3 different main rounds, in these rounds every team creates something for an overarching prompt that is based on their team's ship/category. Each team chooses one work that goes into the voting and is put up head to head against other teams works. (But don't worry if your work isn't chosen for voting you can still submit it to go towards the team!)

There are also mini rounds that are hosted on Dreamwidth where you have the opportunity to submit prompts based on a theme and are able to create works for ANY yuri ships, even those outside of your teams bounds. These rounds are great for people who want to have a lot of little, more specific prompts to work with!

I'm the team leader for Team MCYT 2026 and I'm hoping to have it be a very laid back year so don't feel too intimidated by the competition aspect! I just would love more creations for block women shipping out in the world!
