Truth be told, Mary couldn’t have anticipated that Piney would cheat on her. She knew that things in their marriage weren’t perfect as of late, but she didn’t think that things were that bad. Admittedly, she didn’t have any solid evidence to base this opinion on considering that she had only noticed that Piney had come home late a few times during the week and blew her off when she thought they had made plans, however, it was possible that got held up with the club, though, she doubted it. She knew the type of lives some of the other men in the club lived and it wasn’t something that Mary would tolerate. Her conversation with Luann from earlier in the day had caused her to spiral which led her to the Clubhouse with a bone to pick. As she made her way toward the Clubhouse, she passed a group of crow eaters on her way in and was unable to control the roll of her eyes that came in response as she couldn’t help but imagine that Piney was sleeping with one of them. She barged into the clubhouse with a glance around to find Gemma Teller. “Gemma,” she approached with a nod of her head before her eyes scanned the room in search of him for herself before they settled back on Gemma, knowing that the other woman would at least be honest with her if she’d seen him. “Have you seen Piney?”
