Sawamura Eijun has never been a kid who could sit calmly and read a book. No, far from that, he has been the kid who taps his fingers nervously against the wooden surface of his desk, who jiggles his leg continuously, and whose golden eyes darted from one place to another, never letting his gaze stay for more than one second. Nobody in their right mind trusted the child, as much as he means well, with anything past a pencil, until a childhood friend handed him her violin. Eijun fell in love for the first time. Now, in Seido Music Academy, his fingers fly over the fingerboard and his wrist rolls gently to create the perfect sound-a sound that could land him as a concert master. Amidst some of the best musicians of his generation he desperately works to take the front chair, to lead the fiery violas, genius (but irritating) cellos, and the steady bases.
