Gulshan had asked Temperance to take some dance classes together because even though he couldn't remember much from when he was in a coma, there was one coma dream that he still remembered very vividly (here and here). It was a dream where he danced the night away with the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. A dream where he, in that moment, felt the happiest he had ever been... And a dream that made him feel like life is worth fighting for.

Besides going to the gym with Sean every now and then, Gulshan has gotten more used to working out and also tries to do some of the workouts at home whenever he has a little time since he also has a full-time job running his restaurant. Ava and Joy won't leave their dad alone when he is doing his exercises, so Gulshan now includes them as toddler-sized weights while also having some quality time with them. When it comes to cardio, Gulshan really likes following Plumboomba Dance Videos whenever they are on tv and he's also taken up running.
when you reach adulthood you include going for a run on every wednesday and sunday 🏃

To everyone's surpire, Gulshan had woken up from being in a coma for two full days. He had to stay in the hospital for a little longer so the doctors could do a couple more medical tests while keeping an eye on him. Luckily all the results came back good, so he was allowed to go home the next day. Gulshan was surprised when Temperance led him into the restaurant and saw that his friends and family were waiting for him. Everyone was overjoyed to see Gulshan and even Supriya seemed to have let go of all resentment she had towards him.

Gulshan was in the city to get some fresh produce for his restaurant, after which he out of habit stopped at one of his favorite food stalls to treat himself. Sitting at one of the tables at the market, he paused to reflect on everything that had happened in the past weeks. He realized his near-death experience could have had a different outcome, triggering a new fear he never had before. He knew he had to change his lifestyle, but he also knew that it wouldn't be easy. Sean, who had just finished working out at the local gym, saw Gulshan deep in thought and decided to join him and ask what he was thinking about. After Gulshan explained his worries, Sean told Gulshan he wanted to help him get healthier and invited to join him next time he goes to the gym. After Sean left, Gulshan finished his food and also decided that this would be the last time he ate unnecessary food at the market that he didn't really need for his sustenance.
