Pre-Orders are now open!!

After many months of delays we are happy to announce that “Where the Wind Takes Us” is now open to pre-orders until March 3rd!

The zine includes the works of 22 artists and 5 writers who put their all into filling 50 pages of wonderful Gency content. Full-page illustrations, ficlets, and collaborative pieces can all be found in this zine.

We are offering three different orders:

Digital copy only - $10

Physical copy only -$25

Deluxe Bundle (Digital, Physical, Stickers, and 5 Mini Prints) - $30

After production cost, the profit will be donated to GlobalGiving towards their Puerto Rico and Caribbean Hurricane Relief Fund. Our ask box is always open so feel free to send us charity suggestions.

None of this could have been possible without our lovely Participants and all the amazing supporters that have encouraged us along the way.

IT'S HERE!!! I'm so excited, I can't put it into words. This is the first zine I've had the pleasure to work on behind the scene and everyone that worked on it has made it a dream come true. I ordered the deluxe bundle and all the little extras look amazing. (Pst dont trust the colors in these pics my camera is weird)

I’m glad the zine was able to raise some money for hurricane relief! It was very well made and had great art! Again I know I don’t do ships, but I wanted to share the zine to show that the people who worked on it did a great job! Thank you @lettersinthewind-zine

RECEIPTS

As we stated in the past, we will be completely transparent about the financial side of the zine. The names and any personal information have been censored but all the expenses for this zine are shown in the images above

Explanations for what these images mean:

First half of image #1 - screenshot of the total sales of each bundle and the combined total of $1,515

Second half of image #1 and continued onto image #2 - to keep things organized, the free digital copies each participate would would be ‘bought” from the store with a discount code that lowered the price to 1cent (bigcartel would not allow a discount code to go lower than 1cent) and the physical/deluxe bundle would have a discount code for $15 off. These area a record of these sales.

Images #3 and #4 - all participates were promised a free digital copy and $15(which is enough for the physical zine with the discount) for their work on this zine unless they wished for their pay to be put towards charity instead. These are the receipts of the people being paid or confirmation that they wished for their part to go towards charity. (note that those that have $0.01 or $15.01 were being paid for the penny that it would take to buy their digital copy since bigcartel will not go lower than a penny on discount codes) 

Image #5 - Receipts for the printing production of the zine, prints, and sticker sheets. 

Image #6 - All the receipts for the shipping costs, both national and international. 

First half of image #7 - Total sale minus the expenses left us with about $378.26 to donate (disclaimer: both Squiddy and I come out with slightly different results while doing the math, no more than 25cents of difference, because of this we have decided to be on the safe side and round up to $380)

Second half of image #7 - A supporter of one of our participants donated $55 directly to GlobalGiving after seeing the team's zine efforts although they don't know/appreciate Gency. We thank them greatly for this.
