the whole idea of dividing people into tme/tma is bullshit. it's not real. it's a weird fake tumblr thing and it literally doesn't work the way anyone who uses tme/tma thinks it does.
tme means transmisogyny exempted
tma means transmisogyny affected
most trans and nonbinary will be each of these at varying stages of their transition and cisgender intersex people are sometimes transmisogyny affected and gay men can be tma and trans intersex people regardless of how they present and identify can be tma. these aren't neat little boxes you can put people in and it's not useful to describe people as such.
transmisogyny is absolutely real, to be clear. but tme and tma are not useful or real identifiers and are mostly used in the same way afab/amab is and we really need to stop trying to reinvent gender binary especially in ways that continue to hurt intersex and gnc people in both old and new ways
