Some binary trans people wanna just transition and live their lives as their gender, never being questioned or known as the trans aspect of their story.

And that’s fine, I get it. No shame in that.

But… I adore being trans. Even if sometimes people are dicks about it, or misunderstand, or comes with the simple fact of acknowledging the body and life I used to have.

But being trans… is a fuck you to the system. It tells a story of someone who shaped herself… who finally took control of something in her life.

Being trans is making myself in the face of adversity… and the strength to do that.

And anyways I’m a bit of a gender freak therian/otherkin anyways. And a lot of my community I’ve found is with other trans people.

At the end of the the day… I get why being trans brings so much pain to some that they’d wanna leave the embracing of that aspect behind…

But being trans… is important to me.

I love it so much when people are scared of my pronouns and just avoid using any at all for me, its so funny to see people go "he- sh- they- uhhh [name]" because I'm a freakshow and clearly trans but people aren't sure which way

Talking to cis people: so I was assigned female at birth, so I'm biologically a woman, but I feel more like a man so I socially transitioned and I'm about to start my medical transition. I'm also exclusively attracted to men which makes me gay because I'm a man that likes other men.

Talking to trans people: so I'm a man but only in the way gay men are men. 'Faggot' honestly feels more right as a gender for me than ftm. Also I'm like 98% gay bc I'm deeply attracted to Lizzo and Lupita Nyong'o .

So apparently I'm a gender freak. I've never felt more comfortable with that title. 

Also in Kate Bornstein's definition of a gender freak in My Gender Work says that after reading this book I will feel less alone.

I really hope thats how I feel at the end of this.

cause right now, I feel pretty damn alone.
