I'm not saying that Ashley/fem!Flambae gives off complete Jessica Rabbit vibes.

But people do see her, in heels and dressed so fine in pants to highlight her legs and a top to show the goods, and then to Roberta and have to wonder. Some even ask and she is quick to wrap her arm around Roberta's shoulder and snap back "this is MY weak and pathetic normie, fuck you she's handsome! Go fuck yourself!"

And while Roberta is feeling that sense of pride and care, is quickly reminded this is still Flambae when her girlfriend says "Her ass may be flat, and boobs, and personality and-"

And there it is.

But Roberta is use to this.

I love how diverse my two different takes on Flambert is between genderbents:

Flambert (canon-slight): falling in love, assholes to each other, cares deeply, drama with family, sometimes Chad is trans (and gets pregnant), finding how to be a family together, wholesome

Flambert (genderbent): Roberta struggling with gender identity, misogyny from how she was raised, bearing the sin of her mother acting more like a distant father, having a hysterectomy in her 20s, not knowing if she should trust more or be a loner, dating someone who might kill her, Flambae flirting that line between causal and serious, arguing more and falling into bed to feel better

The moment that genderflip au Z-Team finds out just how much anger is stored in Roberta's 5'9" body , 100% her nickname becomes "Pressure Cooker"

Like Robert has those moments of dissociation of who he is and who Mecha Man is and depression.

Flipside, Roberta feels so much that she pushes it down so tightly to let it go when she needs to

Also, the reason I call fem!Flambae "Ashley" is that I imagined her birth name is Ashraf. And, given that her family immigrated over, she changed it to a more American name. She also doesn't really use Ashley much anymore. Just more with strangers she'll probably not talk to or see for long. Flambae is more preferred or her birth name when she is close.

Meaning only really her family, Prism, and Roberta.

After the genderflip Z-Team finds out that fem!flambert is dating

Fem!Punch Up: 🎶 ~ Ashley and Roberta sitting a tree- ~ 🎶

Fem!Flambae: I will singe your fucking arm hairs you little-

Male!Visi: 🎶 ~ F-U-C- ~🎶

Fem!Flambae: 🔥AHHHHH!🔥 *sets off the sprinklers*

Roberta: *standing there, getting progressively soaked* Alright team, glad we got that all out-

Male!Visi: But we haven't-

Roberta: GLAD WE ALL GOT THAT OUT OF OUR SYSTEMS!

Don't get me wrong, Roberta still has insane amount of depression like Robert does. She just also has like, all the feelings about everything that has fucked her life up too.

......pretty sure if she let go all the tension in her body, she would melt into goo.
