name-related hcs i've come up with for the girls [Charlotte + Max] 💌
to all of her close friends and family, Charlotte has always been a 'Lottie'. 'Charlie' was in fact a nickname given by her rival Max back in their karting days, whenever she mentioned her in interviews. it stuck better than 'Lottie' to the media people - to her dismay at first, but she's grown to like it a lot!
Max's dad had always wanted a son, and was positive Max would be one. that's why, after she was born, he decided to keep it 'masculine' instead of switching it to 'Maxine'. she thinks it's a badass gender-neutral name, anyways.
