The Villain
Cavernous infection spreads indifferently across honey-combed epidermis,
Socially aware of impending scrutiny; the porous pedestal prowls,
Roofie-red; repressing comments of veneer as the root of the injustice lies in gendered expectation,
Why not pave pores with stage if it makes one unblemished,
Why not supply confidence in bifocal bottles of blame-the-blemish,
Hereditary hormones should never encompass a resume, yet, we remain in sluggish progression due to structured societal monuments upon which self-confidence crumbles.
