as a nonbinary person who related to epilogue roxy a LOT in how i dealt with my gender (to thw point that i chose their name for myself) and also a transfem it always felt so invalidating seeing people act like nb roxy was some attack on transfems and talk about how they were an "unrealistic" portrayal to being trans. honestly ot was one of the main reasons i started distancing myself from the homestuck fandom post epilogues

Not if you’re just chatting to me on Tumblr, unless there’s some exceptional circumstance where it’s getting external attention. Basically, just please use discretion elsewhere, but you can assume that I’m fine with casual bystanders on tumblr knowing my gender and pronouns.

It sorta bugs me in GoT the whole 'a girl has no name' thing doesn't seem to extend to gender? Arya's still "a girl", the dude training her is still "a man", and it makes no sense tbh. They erase their entire identity.. except gender? It seems to imply gender is immutable, non-erasable, and tbh I really hate that subtext. A person with no identity should have NO identity, not even a gender.
